My name is Ms. Erin Jinks and I have graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA in Art Education. Upon graduating, I served as a pre-school teacher at Lifespan Montessori in Athens, Georgia where I also volunteered with domestic violence support group Project Safe using art therapy with young children and teens. I have taught several summer art and music camps with diverse populations of students in Georgia, as well as in Rosarito, Mexico. Printing, painting, and photography are my primary media in which I work. I am very passionate about making art and music, as well as organic gardening, cooking, and being active outdoors. I envision this year to be an experience that integrates basic principles and theories of art and music with technical skills, modern methods, and real-world applications.
