My name is Lindsey Adornetto and I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I recently graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a concentration in Art. Gabriel Méndez Arce graduated from Universidad de Costa Rica and lives in Palmares, Alajuela. He will be more than willing to lend a hand. We have filled our hearts and minds with information and knowledge of facts, and although these are important tools experience matters most. This means wisdom is unlimited and includes knowledge and the way of action. We take hold of a branch and think it is the whole tree.

My name is Jacob Westman and this will be my second term as a member of the Falcon Staff. I have received a BA in International Relations from Drake University in Iowa and my Teaching License from Hamline University in St. Paul MN. I have spent several years living and working around Europe and now operate an award winning non-profit that educates citizens about environmental sustainability. I have been working as a teacher for the past 6 years and have worked with a wide range of age and ability levels. I am an avid outdoorsman and thus take a constructivist approach to education. My goals for this year are to insure that every student is achieving the heights they are capable of achieving.

My name is Vanessa Valverde; I was born in Alajuela, Costa Rica. I graduated with a Bachelor in Education (B.S) with a Minor in Primary Education at the Universidad de Costa Rica. I value education as one of the most important ways to promote the integral development in people. My name is Meagan Parrish. I attended the University of Colorado and have a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy. I spent several years in the corporate world working as a designer for an electrical engineering firm, which was a great experience, but also helped to inspire a rewarding change of pace by working with children. I have also spent many years working with grades K-12 as an assistant teacher for an art studio. I believe education is precious and I feel privileged to be involved in the lives of children. My fiancé, Justen, and I moved to Costa Rica to spend a few years teaching abroad. I look forward to a diverse and rewarding year!
